Embroidery Projects
Here you will find some completed embroidery projects that we've been working on. It's been quite the learning experience, but the whole world of embroidery is exciting and challenging. You will find more stockings I made on the Available for Sale page.
Candle reflector made on the embroidery machine with organza. It's got a silver sleigh on all 4 sides, white stars in the background and light blue stitching on the outside. It was then sewn together on my regular machine.
Candle reflector with a tea light candle. Glows lovely at night.
Free standing lace bowl I made for James. It's his race car colors with some cool checkered flags and his number =) It's the first bowl I made and it turned out really cool.
Purple lace poinsettia all done on the embroidery machine. It's attached to a hair clip.
Another 3d lace poinsettia done in blue.
Mylar Snowman embroidered then placed on a candle.
Hot Cocoa Snowman with mylar. Again this one was embroidered than placed on another candle.
An angel tshirt I made for someone. It's centered on the shirt and is about 5' wide. Stitched out wunderfully.
If you haven't guessed yet, I'm a snowman fanatic! this is my snowman shirt for the holidays. I really don't want the snow, but it matches my hat =)
My Christmas hat I made to wear at the school. Last minute project =)
Grinch Wall Hanging
This is a wall hanging created for my step-son's teacher who loves the Grinch! It features three Ohio Snowflake squares with the center block being an embroidered image of the loved Grinch. The 3" border has large white snowflakes embroidered with mylar to add a little sparkle to them. The "Happy Holidays" in done in a Grinch font stitched out in green with snowflakes in the fill. There are also 12 1" snowflakes embroidered on the green sections. It turned out a little larger than I expcted, finished size is 19" x 40"
Quilt label I created on my embroidery machine for a recent quilt I finished.
Cute little raccoon I put on a shirt for Thanksgiving
I love this one! The detail on the snowflake scroll is amazing and the picture does it no justice! Another stocking I threw together.
Is he not the cutest? Rudolph tangled in lights on a stocking I made.
